Course length is set by the instructor and generally runs from under an hour to tens of hours of video. The level is whatever the instructor pitched the course at.
The cost model is generally pay per course, with subscription products also offered at the time of writing. The job it suits is finding a course somebody has already made on a subject many people want to learn, and watching it when you like.
