LabAIHQ is built to take the contract you upload, ask what you are worried about, and plan a narrated video walkthrough of exactly the clauses that answer you, in plain words.
This is an early build. The upload records the filename only, nothing reads the document yet, and no video is produced yet. This page describes what the product is being built to do, so you can decide whether it is worth a request now. A request is saved, and we will tell you the day that changes.
A contract video walkthrough is a narrated video, planned from a contract you upload and the question you ask about it, that goes through the clauses that answer that question in plain words and names each clause as it goes.
Three steps, from upload to walkthrough
The flow is the same for a supplier agreement, a lease, a term sheet or a settlement. You hand the document over, you say what you need to know, and the walkthrough is planned around that and nothing else.
- Upload it. The agreement, the lease, the term sheet, the settlement - whatever is waiting for your signature.
- We ask what matters. Two or three questions. What are you deciding, what worries you, how long do you have.
- You get the walkthrough. A narrated pass through the parts that answer your questions, in the order you need them.
What a walkthrough looks for
Every agreement has a few places where the money, the exit and the risk are decided. The walkthrough is planned around the ones your question points to. These are the four the product is planned around, in the words the homepage uses.
- The price you agreed to is not the price in year two. That number lives in a schedule at the back.
- Getting out of it has a notice period, and the notice period has a date.
- Somewhere in here is what you promise to cover if something goes wrong, and how much of it.
- One clause decides whether this is exclusive. You will be asked about it later, by your board.
What comes back
A narrated video in chapters, one question each. A chapter states the finding in plain words and shows the page of the contract it was read from, with the clause lit and numbered, so you can open that page and check the words yourself. The chapters come in the order your question needs, not the order the contract was drafted in.
Length follows the document and the question, not a template. A document walkthrough is planned at ten to twenty-five minutes for most contracts. The source track itself runs to thirty hours, which is for a book, not an agreement.
Not legal advice, and why that is the point
We are not your lawyer and this is not legal advice. This is so that when you do talk to your lawyer, you already know which three pages to talk about.
A walkthrough does not tell you whether to sign, does not score the contract, and does not predict how a clause would play out for you. It shows you what your document says at the places that matter, and names the clause. What you do with that is between you and your lawyer, and the conversation starts further along.

Will it tell me whether I should sign?
No. A walkthrough shows you where the price, the exit, the liability and the exclusivity are decided, in the words of your own document. Whether to sign is a decision for you and your lawyer. We are not your lawyer and this is not legal advice.
What kinds of contract can I upload?
Anything waiting for your signature: a supplier agreement, a lease, a term sheet, a settlement, an employment contract, a licensing agreement. The walkthrough is planned from your question, so the type of contract matters less than what you need to know about it. The upload takes PDF, EPUB, DOCX, Markdown and plain text.
How long is the video?
Most document walkthroughs are planned at ten to twenty-five minutes. Length follows the document and the question, not a template, and the chapters are only the ones that answer you.
